As a child I always envisioned myself working in the medical field. I attended Milan Institute for medical training and accomplished this goal. Born and raised in Indio, Ca. with 7 years experience in the medical field. I attended Milan Institute to pursue my career goal as a medical assistant. After completion of my training I have had the opportunity to put my experience to use at Ruiz Family Physicians. In the past twelve years that I lived here in the Coachella Valley I have had my own experiences with many physicians office. I wanted to work in the medical field directly with people. That's when I began to attend Kaplan College and was able to graduate as a Medical Assistant. Now I am very happy and thankful I am able to work with patients of all ages on a day to day basis In such a nice office with two great Physicians and a wonderful team. As a resident of La Quinta for more than 12 years, I have taken pride in my career path. After attending College of the Desert, I chose to get into the Administrative field and from there have had the opportunity to be in the medical field. It is a pleasure and passion of mine to greet and take care of people and make their experiences in our medical office a comfortable and pleasant environment.
I joined Ruiz Family Physicians in June, 2009 and I am very glad with my decision. It is a great place to work for and it gives me the opportunity to fully use my 17 years of experience as an accountant. The Doctors and the staff are really great and they truly do their best for our patients' well being. As for me, I will continue to take care of the accounting part of the practice so everybody else can focus on your health care.
Born in Southern California I have worked in the medical field for 2 years then attended Kaplan College where I learned everything there is to know about billing. Now I am excited to start my new career in such a nice office with a wonderful staff.
